Followers Call for Detainment of Person Who Grabbed Ariana Grande

Devoted fans of the actress are demanding that a person who breached a barricade and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral video depicts the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and lunging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a promenade accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was set to attend court on the next day. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed features clips of him disrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney show in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," commented an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said another comment on Instagram.

Several fans also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while some requested social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was grabbed by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has remained silent on the event, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Hundreds of Singapore supporters had waited to meet the actors of Wicked

Many of attendees had assembled in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore venue, including some who had stood in line for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the second of a two-part adaptation of the popular stage musical Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two distinct sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a rosé glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the most successful film of 2024 in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, earning a pair for outstanding attire and production design.
